Mercury is in retrograde until November 20th. Why is this important?
Well, for one thing, local elections are in play right now. Mercury retrograde tends toward changing our decisions after it goes direct.
Mercury was the god of messages, eloquence and trade. The god of abundance, commercial success and leading newly deceased souls to the afterlife. As the god of messages, he also rules the nervous system in the body.
When Mercury is retrograde, all these attributes seemingly, work backwards. It is also famous for bringing concealed issues to light. Mercury retrograde also makes communication difficult, to say the least. Confusion is a better word describing the shenanigans of a retrograde Mercury! Some of the greatest challenges during this time are driving, flying and cell phones. Perhaps it is more effort than usual to get the right answers to questions.
What is the best use for this period of time? It is a great time for gathering information, window shopping and making comparisons. If a person making decisions on this occasion, it may turn out to be a temporary solution.
What other circumstances is Mercury retrograde good for? It is great for studying and absorbing knowledge and facts. Discovering what has been hidden and finding solutions to the obstacles that may surface.
Most of all, Mercury retrograde is wonderful for meditation and prayer!
There are exceptions to the rule with Mercury retrograde; those who were born while Mercury was in this position.
My advice, let the person with a retrograde Mercury in their chart do the driving, at least until the 20th of November.
