Hello Everyone! I hope you are all safe and well during these very strange and difficult times.
Today’s date is April 24, 2020 and tomorrow Pluto will go retrograde.
So let’s talk shop! I would like to talk about astrology and patterns.
Astrology is combined patterns expressed as energy. This energy is broken down into “personalities” that consist of emotions and intellect on an individual level.
However, these energy patterns also express themselves as global events. We can see this in politics, the stock market, war, and epidemics to name a few.
When I look at an individual’s astrological chart, I also consider how these global event patterns will impact them by observing whether or not these same energy patterns are also found in their chart.
It is in this way I am able to see how a person might experience these global events combined with their own individual patterns.
So, how is the pandemic expressed in astrological energy?
We have two powerful energies (planets) influencing everyone at this moment in time.
The first is Pluto and the second is Uranus. Today we will look at Pluto’s influence.
At the beginning of 2008, Pluto, the planet representing extremes, hidden things and ancestral karma entered into the Constellation of Capricorn for a brief time. By the end of 2008 Pluto moved back into Capricorn and there it has remained and will until 2024.
Pluto is also about healing, as well as power. It is endings and renewals. Pluto in the sign of Capricorn (reaping what is sown), is a paying off of karmic debt. Patterns that have been sown in an honorable, beneficial way will continue to exist (but may need to be tweaked).
And the patterns that have gone to an extreme, which have not been beneficial or are abusive, may have to surrender their reign. When the extreme pattern becomes dangerous or excessive, a law of nature has been broken and the pendulum will swing to restore balance.
Righteous action is always protected during Pluto’s reign. Pluto will lull you into believing that negative patterns might continue indefinitely, nevertheless, there is always a day of reckoning. Which usually happens near the end of Pluto residing in a particular sign.
So, what does this all suggest to us as a society and individually?
According to astrological patterns, Pluto is now in the process of “putting the brakes” on excessive behavior! Too much, too long; it is an end of a season, a way of being.
These patterns have served their purpose and it is a time of healing and renewal! It is our time where there is no more hiding. It is time to get honest on all fronts of our lives.
What patterns you might ask?
How about people running frantically here and there without taking time to relax and enjoy family? Perhaps Mother Earth needs a pollution break? And rest for the people working all the time just to make ends meet while large corporations continue to show huge profits? Think of all displays of extreme models which have not been right action. The leaders, in all countries, are being exposed, out in the open so to speak, with how well they actually lead. We are also seeing people stepping up to guide us through this time, who we would have never considered in the near past!
People are taking better care of themselves and other people. Kindness is surfacing, as well as compassionate behavior. We are now united as a global community and feeling gratitude in a way we have not done before. People are resting for the first time in years!
We are also recognizing the old “normal” is gone. We are simply not the same. The questions we have now:
Are we better human beings? Have we grown in our awareness? Pluto says, “it is time to reinvent ourselves”. We are reaping what we have sown and it is time for change! Like in the movie “Star Wars” when Luke had to go into the “cave” to confront his greatest fears, in a similar way, it is time to for us to look at and acknowledge our most human qualities and our most divine virtues!
So how long will this staying at home continue?
We will see some change after April 25th as Pluto will back off somewhat. Don’t be fooled, however. In May and June there are other big astrological changes. Some will be affecting the stock market for sure. I do see a break in the air in July and August. Then once again, there will be significant modifications taking place.
