Welcome 2020! Happy New Year Everyone, Everywhere!
Let’s explore the upcoming year and
look at the astrological “weather forecast” before us. It looks as if we can expect a very busy and
changeable year! So, sit back and hold
on tight while we move though it all!
We begin the new year with a Lunar
Eclipse on January 10th.
Why is this important to know? Two weeks before and two weeks after an
eclipse are times when an event can take place making significant changes in a
person’s life! Some can be helpful and
others more challenging! This particular
eclipse actives a span of 19 to 21 degrees of a sign, particularly in the sign
of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries and Libra.
Leo and Gemini at these degrees can also be affected.
What can we expect in February! Mercury will be retrograding and giving us an
opportunity to explore the decisions we will be making and being more alert to
communications. By early March things
should clear up. Always with Mercury
Retrograding, meditation and studying are enhanced by this small but mighty
planet that interferes with communication of all kinds. Of course, if you are one of those lucky ones
born with Mercury in reverse motion, this is a fabulous time to make decisions
and make yourself heard!
In March, Saturn the planet of
lessons and karma, will be moving into the sign of Aquarius on March 22nd
for a period of 2 ½ years. You Aquarians
could already be feeling how it’s time to make some changes. Saturn has not been in this sign for 30
years. Wherever you have Aquarian energy
in your astrological natal chart, you will reap what you have sown in the past
30 years of that particular area in your life.
No judgement here with Saturn, both Grace and self-effort will appear in
the events surrounding this area of your life.
Moving on to April! Pluto the small
but mighty planet will retrograde on the 25th. We can always expect Pluto to bring extreme
circumstances as that date approaches. Without
question, this is a time of “do overs”.
The stock market can flip around from high to low.
While April showers bring May
flowers, this May might look a little different as three planets go
retrograde! Yikes!
The first to retrograde is Saturn on
the 11th of May. Saturn is
karma and reaping what one has sown.
However, when Saturn turns direction, it can loosen financial
constraints. However, no sooner does the
taskmaster Saturn reverse that the lovely planet Venus begins its backward
motion for the first time in 18 months.
This will begin a new, 18-month, pattern regarding love and money. May 13th Venus goes retrograde and
May 14th Jupiter will join in with the seemingly backwards motion! When Jupiter retrogrades, you guessed it, money
tightens up. All three of the planets
can change some patterns we presently see in the stock market. May will be an interesting month for sure!
Are you ready for June? Mercury will be retrograding once again on
June 18th, with Neptune, the planet of illusion close behind. Neptune will also retrograde on the 22nd
of June. This can be a time of deception
and what has been kept secret can finally be revealed. But we aren’t finished yet! Venus will go direct on June 25th
when we can finally move forward with new blueprints for love and money! But wait, there’s more! Did I mention we have
2 eclipses this month? June 5th
and June 21st will be time when we might want to wait before both the Solar and Lunar eclipses have passed before making important decisions.
As for July, Mercury will go direct
on the 12th and we will have four planets already in
retrograde. It may actually be an
easeful month! Vacation time and a time for a deep breath! This will help us prepare for the rest of the
year!
Mars, the Planet of War and courage
will be retrograding this year. This
takes place only once every 2 ½ years.
There will be plenty of action taking place. The location of Mars on July 26th
in a person’s chart will begin the area where one can see a great deal of
activity for the next 6 months!
More about Mars later, onward to
August!
In the month of August, one more
planet joins the parade of retrogrades and that is the unpredictable energy of
Uranus! This happens on the 15th
of August! Once again, energy will swing
to extremes in the stock market and in our own lives! This is the energy that brings the unexpected
both good and challenging!
Mars will begin to slow down at the
end of August making
anger raise its ugly head. Mars will retrograde on September the 9th
until November 14th, right after the election! Watch the news as the days approaching the 9th
can be difficult. Once Mars makes its
turn, life can “cool” down some.
On the 13th of September Jupiter will
be going direct and this can be great for easing things since Jupiter brings
blessings! Finally, at the end of
September Saturn will go direct and it will be tine to pay the
piper. Making and/or breaking commitments as well as
balance come under the domain of Saturn.
Guess what retrogrades again in
October? You got it! Mercury will make things confusing once again
on the 14th! Do watch out for
all types of communication disputes!
Pluto finally goes direct on the 4th
of October which frequently indicated a correction in the stock market. Power plays are not out of the question with Pluto, after all he does rule the underworld!
On to election month! On Election Day Mercury goes direct! This could be very interesting! Mars will be slowing down to make its motion
direct on the 14th! It very
well might be a time of great energy and recounts! Neptune the planet of illusion will be
changing direction and going direct on the November 28th! Once again, we can witness the truths
turning into lies and lies turning into truths! This all happens before the Eclipse on
November 30th!
We finish 2020 with a final eclipse
for the year on December 14th!
Everything will be in a direct motion except for Uranus and peace will
finally settle in for the holiday season! Ahh!
